Wellness Program Helps Clients Get Healthy

Shamar Hope Haven Wellness Program is a comprehensive program designed to give our clients the opportunities to experience a higher quality of life through the use of proper diet, nutrition, and exercise.  This summer the clients have been enjoying swimming, bike riding, community service and working out at the gym.

Center promotes student health by supporting wellness, good nutrition and regular physical activity as a part of the total learning and living environment. Shamar Hope Haven support a health environment where residents learn and participate in positive dietary and lifestyle practices. By facilitating learning through the support and promotion of good nutrition and physical activity, the facility contributes to the basic health status of our clients. Improved health optimizes our residents performance potential and ensures that clients placed in our care strive for a healthy lifestyle.
